How does tracking work?
When you share a file, GhostTrace records when it is opened, from roughly where, on what kind of device, and what the recipient did with it (copy, download attempt, forward). Recipients are told the link is tracked before they open it.
Can GhostTrace stop someone taking a screenshot?
In a web browser, no browser can prevent a screenshot. GhostTrace flags likely screenshot activity and can black out the content when the viewer switches apps. Full blocking is only available in the GhostTrace mobile app.
How do I delete my account?
Open Settings, scroll to the danger zone, and choose Permanently Delete Account. You can also use the public deletion page linked below without opening the app.
Someone sent me a link I did not expect. What now?
Do not enter a PIN if the link looks suspicious. Open the link and tap Report this file, or email support and we will review it.
